A Charming Journey Through Canterbury, Sandwich and Dover

#holidayitinerary Exploring Canterbury, Sandwich, and Dover in one trip was a wonderful mix of history, coastal charm, and scenic beauty. Canterbury impressed me with its stunning cathedral, cobbled streets, and cosy cafes, all wrapped in a lively yet timeless atmosphere. Strolling along the old city walls gave lovely views of gardens and historic buildings. Sandwich, with its quiet lanes and medieval architecture, felt like stepping back in time. I enjoyed wandering by the river and discovering small shops tucked away on charming streets.

Dover brought a dramatic change of scenery, with its iconic white cliffs and the impressive Dover Castle perched high above the coast. Walking along the seafront, I could see ferries heading across the Channel, adding to the maritime feel. Each town had its own personality, yet they blended together perfectly for a day filled with history, fresh air, and the unique spirit of Kent.
