Located in the Si Phan Don region of Champasak Province in southern Laos, Somphamit Waterfalls (Address: Don Khon, Khong District, Champasak Province, Laos) is a natural masterpiece created by the majestic flow of the Mekong River. Locally, it is also known as "Li Phi Falls."
The entrance fee is 35,000 kip (approximately $0.25) and can be purchased at the ticket booth 🎟️.
Access is convenient from the main hubs of Si Phan Don, such as Don Det Island or Don Khon Island. From Don Det Island, it’s about a 15–20 minute journey on foot or by rental bicycle (approximately 10,000 kip/day or $0.07). Alternatively, you can take a tuk-tuk for around 20,000–30,000 kip (approximately $0.15–$0.22) one way 🚴♀️.
