October is the autumn leaf season in Japan🇯🇵🫶🏻🫶🏻 Unfortunately, we arrived a little early so I couldn't see it
However, if you come to Fukuoka I highly recommend one of the places you can go is Kikuchi Creek Valley🫡
It's really beautiful when the red leaves🍁 are in bloom🥰
Kikuchi Valley is selected in many Japanese 🗾 local 100 choices such as 100 choices valley, 100 famous water, 100 deep forest bathing, etc. 🙆🏻 ♀️ If the deep road tour, you have to walk here 😎
Because the road is relatively wet and slippery so we'd better wear flat shoes safer!! ️
My place because it started from Fukuoka for a self-drive tour🙈 I went there by the way before getting to Kumamoto!! ️ About an hour or so from Kumamoto city
The whole route is about 4 kilometers🙊 so it is enough to walk about 1 medium or so in advance😬
First of all, there is a restaurant at the entrance of Kikuchi Creek Valley🍴 so it can solve the problem of toilets and food😄 and the decoration is very neat
To enter, you have to buy tickets 🎫 300 yen per person 🫶🏻 The price is definitely not expensive 🤭
Streams originating from Mount Aso Volcano🌋 Mountains will be gathered in the Kikuchi Valley😬 So they form the Kikuchi River!! ️
You can see that the water in the valley is particularly clear 🤣 is a typical feature of river water in high-altitude secret areas 🙆🏻 ♀️ and another major feature is that there are almost no active volcanic chemicals in the water 🤔
In fact, the birthplace of the Kikuchi River is talking about 800 meters above sea level🫡 Very close to the northwest ridge of Mount Aso Crater😎 Because the source will actually be the slope outside the crater, so it is higher than the bottom of the crater🤭 The river is not affected by the chemicals of active volcanoes🤪 Created the famous pure soft water of Kikuchi Valley🤩
My favorite here must be its hanging curtain waterfall🫡 gives people a very healing feeling😎 It has a height of 20 meters🤩 is the largest waterfall in the Kikuchi Creek Valley🫶🏻
It is under a bridge near the Creek Valley Visitor Center 😝 It's easy to get to
And under the right conditions it will also appear rainbow!! ️ The whole landscape makes it even more 😎 is a must-visit place
