After thinking about it for many years, Yilan finally went to southern Anhui in early winter to explore the famous autumn scenery of Tachuan.

The best time to go to Tachuan to photograph the autumn scenery is early in the morning. The mountain village under the misty morning fog has a dreamy and charming style. It’s a pity that every stop on our trip needs to be photographed in the early morning. After weighing the pros and cons, we decided to postpone the trip to Tachuan to the afternoon.

It was a sunny afternoon. Although it was early winter, the sun was still as warm as ever. The clear sunlight fell on the leaves and fields, making everything sparkle. The temperature has been high this year. Although it is already late November and the leaves of the Chinese tallow trees are only half red, the red, green and yellow nature, coupled with the white walls and black tiles of the horse-head walls, is still incredibly beautiful.

To be honest, I was worried before coming here because of the weather this year. However, when driving through Hongcun to Tachhuang, the roadside was full of fiery red fir trees and golden fields. The scenery was so beautiful that I could only say "Beautiful, so beautiful!" It was so beautiful that I was speechless. In any case, I made the right decision to come here.

Tachuan is a small mountain village below the highway, surrounded by mountains. I think one of the main reasons why it is so popular among photographers is its geographical location. To take pictures of Tachuan, you can either overlook the panoramic view from the observation deck on the side of the highway, or walk down from the highway into the village. The village is also arranged in an orderly manner according to the terrain, with colorful mountains as the background, and Chinese tallow trees, rice fields, and persimmon trees as the foreground. The black and white Hui-style buildings are dyed with autumn colors, and the horse-head walls seem to have spirituality against the backdrop of the dazzling autumn colors. Photography enthusiasts can easily get beautiful southern Anhui scenery here.

✈How to get to Tachuan:
If you arrive in Huangshan City by plane or train, you can choose to rent a car or take a bus from Tunxi Bus Terminal to Hongcun.
Hongcun is very close to Tachuan, and you can choose to walk there. The scenery along the way is very beautiful.

Try to stay in Hongcun or Tachuan the night before. There are many homestays and hotels to choose from. Sunrise is the best time of the day to enjoy the village under the morning mist. If you can't arrange to come in the morning like Yilan, come in the afternoon and try to avoid the time period when the midday sun is directly exposed.
