When you come to Wakayama, you must not miss the hometown of this super popular "cat stationmaster". Kishi Station is famous for Tama Stationmaster (たま駅長), and it is not only a railway fan, but also a cat lover or a healing scenery lover.

Take the "Tama Train" running on the Kishi River Line, and each carriage is full of cat elements: from curtains, seats, pendants to ceilings, you can find Tama's cute traces. There are also picture book corners and wooden decorations on the train, as if entering a fairy tale world.

The station itself is shaped like a cat ear hat, and there are Tama-related products in the sales department!

Although Tama Stationmaster has passed away, the second-generation cat stationmaster "Tama II" and other cat employees have taken over, but the warm, calm, and somewhat dreamy atmosphere still exists.
