[Wakayama Prefecture] A cute tourist train with a Nanko plum motif!

Wakayama Electric Railway, which connects Wakayama Station and Kishi Station, is a railway company famous for its unique initiatives, such as a calico cat as the stationmaster and a wonderful train designed by Eiji Mitooka, who also designed many tourist trains and the luxury sleeper Nanatsuboshi.

The Umeboshi Train, which is based on Wakayama's specialty Nanko plums, is a train with a Japanese taste and a gorgeous atmosphere.

There are other cute trains running, so be sure to check the carriages on the timetable! You can also check the stationmaster's working days.

There is no parking lot at Kishi Station, so please park at Wakayama Station or Itakiso Station!
