Spectacular views of the Japanese Alps [Japan's 100 Famous Mountains, Mt. Kiso-Koma]

Kiso-Komagatake is the highest peak in the Central Alps (Kiso Mountains) that stretch across southern Nagano Prefecture.

Although it is a high peak with an altitude of 2,956m, even beginners can easily reach the summit by using the bus and ropeway, and even those who do not climb mountains can enjoy the Japanese Alps with ease, such as seeing the spectacular view of Senjojiki Cirque and strolling through the beautiful flower fields.

If you take the beginner's course, it takes about 4 hours round trip from Senjojiki Cirque to the summit of Kiso-Komagatake.
The view from the ridge and the 360-degree view from the summit are so beautiful that they will blow away even your fatigue.

The recommended season for climbing is from July to October.
In particular, in the summer, various alpine plants bloom in full bloom, adding color to the hiking trails.
Kisokoma-ga-take is also one of the 100 famous flower mountains, so you can enjoy the beautiful mountain. 🌸

When climbing, be sure to prepare well and take care of your health to enjoy it safely.
