Monet's garden is located in Kitagawa Village, about an hour's drive east from Kochi City.
It seems that he received permission from France to call himself Monet.
Claude Monet is a representative impressionist artist, but in his later years he is famous for painting the water lilies blooming in his garden at various times and seasons.
In Monet's garden, you can relive the process of how Monet's works were transformed into artworks that captured the flickering of light and the changing of the water lilies with a quick touch.
On the way back, we went to Katsurahama Beach in Kochi City.
It is also famous as a place where patriots from the end of the Edo period discussed things in morning dramas. There were also stylish cafes and souvenir shops!
