As a railway fan, coming to the Kyushu Railway Memorial Museum is a dream trip for me! The memorial is located in Mojiko, just a five-minute walk from Mojiko Station, with convenient transportation. The business hours are from 9am to 5pm daily, which gave me plenty of time to explore this place full of history and nostalgia.
The moment I stepped into the memorial, the scene before me stunned me! The exhibition hall houses a variety of nostalgic trains, which take me back to the past like a time travel. What moved me most was the old steam train. Listening to its whistle, I seemed to return to my childhood, and the happy times of traveling by train emerged in my mind. Each carriage seemed to be telling its own story, allowing me to feel that unique emotion.
I particularly liked one of the exhibition areas that displayed historical vehicles from all over Japan. From retro carriages to precious models, every exhibit made me feel the charm of railway culture. Especially in the interactive area on the side, I can personally experience simulated driving, which makes me full of excitement and anticipation! These moments are not just an appreciation of trains, but also a love of life.
Here, I saw other tourists, like me, looking at each display with a focused expression, sharing their passion and memories of the railway. This atmosphere of crowds makes me feel extremely warm, as if we are all connected by these nostalgic trains. At this moment, my eyes couldn't help but become moist, and my heart was filled with emotion. This was not only a remembrance of the train, but also a reverence for life.
When I walked out of the Kyushu Railway Memorial Hall, my heart was filled with emotion and shock. This journey not only allowed me to realize my dream, but also allowed me to find my own emotional sustenance in these nostalgic trains. Thanks to this beautiful place, I rediscovered the charm of railways and brought this touching feeling back into my life. ✨🚆💫
