[Kitakyushu] The guiding god ⛩️ Mekari Shrine

📍Kitakyushu

While planning to visit the Kanmon Tunnel, we found an interesting shrine and stopped by.

What kind of shrine is it? How do you get there? We will introduce it to you.
We went on foot, so it was not difficult.
Please use it as a reference for your trip🔖

A shrine located at the northernmost tip of Kyushu.
It is also said to be the "god of guidance" that controls the ebb and flow of the tides, and has been worshiped as the god of maritime traffic since ancient times.
Because it is the "god of guidance," it is said that if you visit it at a turning point in your life or when you are confused, you will be able to take a new step.

Torii gates facing the sea are rare, and looking at the view from here will make you feel positive somehow... (I don't know if it's just a preconceived notion (lol))
