[Yamaguchi🎆 Shimonoseki] Fireworks from the opposite bank! Kanmon Strait Fireworks Festival

The Kanmon Strait Fireworks Festival is held during the Obon period in August. 🎆

This is a very popular fireworks festival, as fireworks are launched simultaneously from both Moji Port in Fukuoka Prefecture and Shimonoseki in Yamaguchi Prefecture!

I had the chance to visit Fukuoka Prefecture at this time, so I went to the fireworks festival 😊

I participated from the Shimonoseki side!

There were a lot of people, but the viewing area on the Shimonoseki side is wider, so it didn't feel as crowded as I thought it would.

First there was a drone show, and then the fireworks were launched ✨ You can see the fireworks from Fukuoka Prefecture, and there are several points on the Shimonoseki side where they are launched, and there were so many fireworks that I didn't know where to look 🎇

However, it was still crowded on the way back, so I think it's a good idea to plan your schedule so that you can act with plenty of time 💦
