Have you heard of Kitakyushu, a city just north of Fukuoka, accessible by boat from Busan?

If you're thinking, "Why bother with a chain?", you're wrong! While gazing at the reflections of the rivers, visit before 10 AM for a complimentary morning set of bread! There aren't many cafes that open in the morning, so I highly recommend it.

- A donut and coffee spot across from Kokura Castle, just past Montbell 🍵
Sipping coffee and donuts while sitting outside and gazing at Kokura Castle is a delectable combination, isn't it?

- Sarutahiko, a mazesoba restaurant located within the market 🐷
This place... is delicious. After you finish your meal, you can get a little rice to mix it all together at this mazesoba restaurant!

- Inaka-an, a unagi rice bowl near Kokura Main Street
Eating a piece of seiromushi eel with rice is so comforting! A local favorite with a long line, weekdays and weekends alike!

Mojiko Yaki Curry, and more! Kitakyushu offers both delicious food and beautiful scenery! Highly recommended! ☘️
