The lush greenery of Shiranoe Botanical Park

Fukuoka Botanical Garden is an excellent place to enjoy autumn leaves from late November to early December. During this period, the garden transforms into a stunning scene of red and yellow leaves, like a painting. There are three recommended spots for leaf viewing within the garden: the entrance plaza, the Path of Light and Shadow with about 800 maple trees, and the Deciduous Forest, which features a large Japanese maple tree believed to be around 50 years old. Each area showcases the beauty of autumn from a unique perspective.
