🌿Thung Prong Thong

It is a tourist attraction that was developed jointly by government agencies and villagers to develop a mangrove forest area that used to be a fishing area until it deteriorated. Therefore, there was a campaign to plant mangrove plants such as the Prong Thong and the Rong Thong tree. There was also a nature study bridge built within this forest area, approximately 2 kilometers long, starting from Thung Prong Thong and ending at the Ruea Ruea Prasae.

The name Thung Prong Thong comes from the leaves of the Prong Thong tree, which are light green when reflecting sunlight, making them look like gold. It is a very beautiful viewpoint. It is worth visiting to breathe in the natural air, which is considered another lung of Rayong Province. 🌿🍃

To travel to Thung Prong Thong, you must park your car in the community's parking lot. The cost is 20 baht per vehicle, and you can take a local tricycle to the entrance of Thung Prong Thong for 8 baht per person/trip. Or if you want to exercise, you can walk in. 🍀
