Ikuta Forest at Ikuta Shrine! Visit to Ikuta Morizasha Shrine

There is a sacred forest on the north side of the grounds of Ikuta Shrine. It is called "Ikuta Forest." This historic forest, which was once a battlefield during the Genpei War, is home to Kinryu Spring, a spring where water fortunes are made. This sacred forest has clear air, which is hard to imagine from the colorful main hall. Please pay your respects to the sacred tree, which is over 500 years old, and enjoy forest bathing.
