From the oldest cake shop in #Kobe, almost 80 years old, and won the prestigious Sweets West Top 100 award in 2023 and many other awards at MOTOMACHI CAKE 元町ケーキ.

🍓Of course, we ordered #Zakuro, which is the signature sponge cake made from egg yolks, giving a light crispy outer surface, soft, moist, and not dry inside. The fresh cream in the middle is not very sweet and light. The strawberries on top are sweet and fragrant, sprinkled with a little sugar. Oishi!! (330¥) It's so delicious that it's worth the price.

🍫Another piece is the chocolate chiffon cake. It's a Japanese cake, right? It's light and fluffy, the chocolate cream is smooth, mixed with the freshness of the fruit. It's a good and again (380¥).

The shop will highlight the sponge cake with many flavors to choose from. And there are many other sweets, including tea and coffee. There are seats both inside and outside.

The shop often wins awards for sweets. When we went, there were sweets that won gold medals from the competition for sale, guaranteeing deliciousness.
We went near closing time, there were not many sweets left, but people still came in, both tourists and Japanese people, because it was delicious and the price was good, starting at only 70 baht. Recommended.
