Located at the top of Mount Rokko in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan, Rokkosan Tendai is a popular viewing point offering spectacular views of the city and nature.

From Tendai, you can overlook the night view of Kobe City, especially in winter, the bright lights are amazing. Not only is this a great place to take beautiful photos, it is also a popular destination for hiking enthusiasts.

There are many trails around Tianyu Terrace, suitable for climbers of different levels. The facilities are complete, and there is also a cafe serving drinks and snacks, allowing visitors to enjoy a leisurely time amidst the beautiful scenery. Whether it's day or night, Rokkosan Tendai is a great choice to experience the beauty of nature and the city.

Grab the bus schedule and set off in the evening. It was selected as "Japan's New Three Major Night Views - Ten Million Dollar Night View" 😎 It's a bit far from the buildings, and there's a mountain view blocking the view in front, but I personally think it's okay. The weather was too cold, and the hot drink vending machine was a lifesaver❤️ I bought some hot cocoa to warm my hands and stomach, and after watching the night view, I took the cable car down the mountain back to Kobe (it was dark and there was no scenery to see)

There are several ways to get to Rokkosan Tiantian Terrace:

1. Take the JR Kobe Line to Rokkomichi Station, then take a bus to Mt. Rokko. Bus routes usually go directly to Tianlian Tower. or
City buses from central Kobe also provide service to Mt. Rokko.

2. Take the cable car from the "Rokko Mountain Cable Car Station" to the top. The journey is beautiful and suitable for tourists to enjoy the scenery along the way.
