[Hyogo] Relax in Arima Onsen, where you can feel the great outdoors ♨️

Arima Onsen, located in Arima-cho, Kita-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, is one of Japan's three oldest hot springs and is a traditional hot spring that is also counted among the three famous springs in The Pillow Book. ♨️

The nearest station to Arima Onsen is Arima Onsen Station on the Kobe Electric Railway.

Arima Onsen is great for a hot spring trip, of course, but it's also recommended for day trips and dates. 💞

Taiko no Yu is one of the most popular hot springs in Arima. The footbath at Taiko no Yu is free, allowing you to soothe your travel fatigue.

Since Arima Onsen is located on top of a mountain, the air is incredibly clean. ✨ It's also great for relaxing and gazing at the river, where you can truly feel the natural beauty.

There are plenty of gourmet foods to try while walking around. I tried the dango dumplings at Mitsumori Dangoya. 🍡 They were super chewy and delicious!

Vending machines sell Arima's specialty, Arima Cider, as well as many other unique drinks. 👀

If you're feeling a bit tired, relax at a cafe. The cafe I went to had board games and other items for sale, which was fun to look at.

In the fall, you can also look forward to seeing the autumn leaves at Arima Onsen.

I highly recommend you go!
