Mui Wo 🏝️
This is probably the least popular island in Hong Kong.
Even on weekends, there are very few tourists.
Find a beach 🥂 and lie down for an afternoon.
It's simply a paradise for introverts.
Most of the people here are foreigners.
It almost feels like you're abroad.
This was the most surprising stop on my trip to Hong Kong!

📷 [Other travel tips]
1️⃣ There aren't many commercial areas here, most are concentrated around Mui Wo Pier, where you can enjoy stunning sea views.
2️⃣ Navigate to Silvermine Waterfall, where you'll find a pristine landscape and even some cows wandering around. It's perfect for hiking.
3️⃣ Finally, head to Silvermine Bay Beach to lie down and take a walk. You can also try kayaking and beach volleyball.
4️⃣ I recommend combining this with a 2-day trip to Ngong Ping and Tai O. If you're going to Hong Kong Disneyland, you can plan a 3-day trip, which is perfect for families. It's more convenient to stay near Tung Chung MTR Station.
🏨 We stayed at the Sheraton Hong Kong Tung Chung Hotel, which offers free shuttle service to the MTR station and airport. The surprise was that in the evening, we went to the rooftop restaurant with friends. It's said to be one of the top steakhouses in Hong Kong, and the environment and taste were both great. If you check in early in the afternoon, you can also go to the observation deck near the hotel pool to watch the sunset. You can see planes taking off and the pier in the distance.
