Kochi Prefecture! Katsurahama area reopens & Sakamoto Ryoma statue

The Katsurahama area opened in March 2023. When I visited (December 22nd) it was during the pre-opening period, but there was no trace of the past and everything had become a new and comfortable commercial facility.

You can walk up the stairs to the Sakamoto Ryoma statue. Since I visited in the evening, Katsurahama as the sun set and the Sakamoto Ryoma statue gazing at the moon were fantastic.

Access: About 30 minutes from JR Kochi Station on Tosaden Kotsu Katsurahama

Opening hours: The park is open 24 hours, and the stores vary by facility

Park admission fee: Free
