🌴 Mercure Koh Chang Hideaway – Koh Chang

I've been there and I have to say that this place is perfect for the phrase "quiet escape"! The location is at Ao Bai Lan. The atmosphere is super chill, like being in another world. The beach in front of the hotel is a private beach. It's quiet, clean, and you can walk all the way without having to squeeze by anyone.

What we like the most is the large swimming pool next to the sea. When you're done swimming, look up and you'll see a full panoramic view of the sea. No filters, no apps, and your phone's camera can take beautiful pictures!

There are many types of rooms to choose from. We chose a room with a jacuzzi in the bathroom. It was really great. But if you want more privacy, there are also pool villas to choose from. The room has everything from a mini bar to a bathtub and a bed with cool air conditioning (this is important).

Breakfast is okay. It's not fancy, but it's complete. There's both Western and Thai food. The coffee isn't bad. If you want something easy to eat and comfortable, this is a pass.

The facilities are also complete, including a fitness center, spa, sauna, and staff who are quite attentive, even though they don't smile all the time like in luxury hotels. But helpful and friendly
