Khlong Chao Waterfall, a clear stream on Koh Kood

Klong Chao Waterfall is not only a famous and beautiful waterfall on Koh Kood, but it is also a waterfall that has historical significance to the people of Koh Kood. It is said that if you visit Koh Kood and do not visit Klong Chao Waterfall, it is as if you have not been to Koh Kood. Klong Chao Waterfall can be visited all year round. However, from May to October of each year, it is the rainy season when the southwest monsoon blows across the Gulf of Thailand, causing rain almost all the time during this period. Therefore, it is the period that I would like to recommend to visit the most.

Klong Chao Waterfall is located on the west side of Koh Kood, on the same side as Klong Chao Beach. It is 15.7 kilometers away from Ao Salad Pier, which is the main pier of Koh Kood. From the pier, it takes about 27 minutes by car or motorcycle.
