It was called 'Queen Mother's Messenger.' In the past, Emperor Wu of Han ascended this mountain and found a jade box five inches long. Upon his descent, the box suddenly transformed into a white bird and flew away. Legend has it that the Queen Mother's jade box resides on the mountain, and she always has the bird guard it." This mountain became the site of the beautiful myth of the blue bird carrying the jade box, and Xinglong Mountain was named Yuhan Mountain because of this legend.
