Surin Island Trip Diary, Phang Nga Province — 3 Days 2 Nights

This time, we had the opportunity to visit the Surin Islands in Phang Nga Province, renowned for their stunning beauty and abundance. This 3-day, 2-night freediving trip, staying within the Surin Islands National Park, allowed us to snorkel and explore the colorful coral reefs and breathtaking underwater world.

The journey began with a Sabina boat ride, followed by a songthaew (songthaew) to a speedboat that took us to Surin Islands. Upon arrival, we discovered only a few bungalows on the island, which must be booked in advance. The island's charm lies in its simplicity and tranquility. Electricity is cut off at 6:00 AM and re-energized at 6:30 PM every day.

The island has two beaches. In front of it is the main pier, where boats usually dock around noon or afternoon to pick up and drop off passengers. During this time, it's a bit busy, but by late afternoon, there are almost no tourists left, leaving the island quiet and peaceful. It's perfect for watching the sunset and listening to the gentle sound of the waves.

This was one of the most intimate trips we've ever had, offering a breathtaking view of the crystal-clear sea, pristine coral reefs, and a sense of simplicity unmatched anywhere else. #Hotel #PhangNga #Diving #Hotel #BeachAccommodation #TravelPlan
