Review of Surin Island, Kuraburi District, Phang Nga Province ๐ #People who have never been here must read
Surin Island or Surin Islands National Park is located in Kuraburi District, northern Phang Nga Province, adjacent to Ranong Province and connected to the Burmese Sea. #The name of Surin Island was named after Phraya Surinthracha, who was the mayor of Phuket since 1971 until now, about 50 years ago (not related to Surin Province or Surin Beach in any way ๐๐๐)
Surin Islands has 5 islands in total: Surin Nuea Island, Surin Tai Island, Ri Island (Stock Island or Fai Waep Island), Klang Island (Pachumba or Dragon Island) and Khai Island (Torinla Island). For snorkeling trips, tour companies will only take you to Surin Nuea Island and Surin Tai Island. The rest will be scuba diving groups.
Traveling to #KohSurin, we can use the services of various tour companies and travel by speedboat. There are 3 main piers:
1. Thap Lamu Pier, travel from the pier to the island in about 2 hours in normal weather conditions.
2. Ban Nam Khem Pier, travel from the pier to the island in about 1 hour and 30 minutes in normal weather conditions.
3. Kuraburi Pier, travel from the pier to the island in about 45 minutes in normal weather conditions.
๐ Whether you are staying in Phuket or Khao Lak, Phang Nga Province, tour companies also provide a pick-up and drop-off service. However, I recommend that if you do not want to be tired and lose your happiness, stay in Khao Lak, Phang Nga Province or Kuraburi District. It is the best and also saves on tour fees.
๐ Where to stay, how near or far, consider the distance according to the coordinates.
