Wat Phra Yai, Koh Fan.

Wat Phra Yai is located in the northern part of Koh Samui, Surat Thani province. The highlight of the temple is the Big Buddha or Phra Buddha Kodom, a unique statue built in 1972. It is the largest Buddha statue in the southern region, depicting the Mara Vichaya posture. Both locals and tourists often visit to pay their respects for good fortune and to enjoy the views of Koh Phangan and Bophut Beach from the top.
We visited when the weather was great, though it was quite hot. There were many tourists, and the view from the top was stunning.
