Dream Stay at the W Koh Samui

The W Koh Samui has been my dream destination ever since I joined SPG. Those iconic submerged lounge chairs and the bold W logo? Absolute attention-grabbers， perfectly capturing the brand's edgy-chic aesthetic. It took years for me to finally experience it—a testament to its bucket-list status. Yes， the place feels its age: some facilities are a bit outdated， and the design isn't the latest. Even the manager mentioned plans for a refresh. Nonetheless， the public spaces are still impressive—every pool is Instagram-ready， and every W sign frames a postcard-worthy view. Breakfast at TKT， their all-day spot， is a semi-buffet. You've got classics and some signature dishes—most hit the mark. Being in the south， the flavors tend to be sweet， which isn't to our taste， so we favored Namu， the Japanese spot， much more. Fresh ingredients， creative dishes， and the staff? Just delightful， keeping it fun while serving fantastic meals. We also treated ourselves to the hotel's photography service. The photographers were professional yet laid-back， capturing memories we'll cherish forever. Sure， the rooms could use some care， but most of the staff we encountered were so cheerful. GM Alex even handled an issue we had personally and got it resolved quickly—true A+ service. With a team like that， you can't help but wish them well. Looking forward to seeing what the renovation will bring—I’ll likely be back as soon as it’s finished!
