This trip mainly focused on Taling Ngam Beach in the west of Koh Samui. It's only a ten-minute walk from the InterContinental Hotel, but the price is much more affordable and the CP value is super high! Lots of resorts on the beach, but I recommend this one the most and don’t worry about finding amenities.
The biggest selling point of the hotel is the location, directly next to Taling Ngam beach, unbeatable privacy, super quiet environment, perfect for friends who want to quiet Chill play a day. During the day, the pool is surrounded by palm trees, naturally shaded, and looks out to the sun-filled blue sky and blue sea - taking pictures has a strong holiday feel. The hotel is well maintained every day, especially the seaside hexagonal cabins. The octagonal room has a modern design, is super clean, and the pool and bathroom are new. Every morning the employees are replenished with good tea bags, coffee and water, and just drinks are no hassle.
In terms of service, the hotel staff is friendly and professional, and they answer everything they ask – and the management knows how to do it and is polite to guests. There are offering car rental, rental bicycle services, I myself think renting a motorcycle is the most convenient, if you want to explore around the small shops or go to nearby restaurants are very easy, 7/11 walk over. There are also some yoga classes on the nearby intercontinental, which are very convenient for horseback riding, even going to the beach to play in the water and stepping on the sand. Others some people think the facilities are old, but basic to use ok, the pool is well maintained on a daily basis.
Itinerary tip
1. If you have plenty of time to travel, stay back for two nights to enjoy the sunset, definitely worth it, beautiful photos to no friends.
2. Recommend renting a motorcycle, easy to walk around the streets, to the supermarket or restaurants save time.
3. Want to save money without meals hotel meals, you can go down the street near the local small shops, taste good and cheap.
