We had the most amazing stay at Sai Daeng, we have no idea how anyone could ever have anything negative to say about the place- it’s just perfect! The pictures online are a true representation of how beautiful this resort is.

The staff all went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The hotel is in the most fantastic location, isolated from other properties but still within reach of restaurants, shops etc using the shuttle provided. The restaurant on site is also fantastic- the service was exceptional, price was very good and location unbeatable!

Yes, the resort is hilly, but this adds to the character of the place, and the views you get from it would not be there if this wasn’t the case. Staff are on hand to help with bags at the beginning and end of the stay, and they do so with a smile always. Arriving at the port in Koh Tao is somewhat chaotic, but once you arrive at the resort it couldn't be any further from that- it’s idyllic and peaceful.
The villas had such wonderful views and had all the amenities we needed. Snorkelling is fantastic from the resort- there are 2 beaches, one is sandy and one is rocky, for snorkelling only. We saw sharks, sting rays, turtles, amazing coral, brightly coloured fish…all from the resort itself without needing to go anywhere!
