Kitakyushu Gourmet: Popular Hamburger and Fluffy Omurice Café

Located in Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, this café is well-loved for its fluffy and creamy omurice, both during lunch and dinner time.

While waiting for the hamburger, I was treated to complimentary cheese and sesame grissini.

✤ Hamburger & Fried Shrimp
An omelet sits atop chicken rice, accompanied by a piping hot hamburger and fried shrimp.

"The egg will firm up with residual heat, so please cut it open quickly!" advised the staff. Following their suggestion, I swiftly sliced it open with a knife 🥚.

The soft, creamy egg spread out beautifully.

The chicken rice paired with demi-glace sauce was delightful, and the hamburger was incredibly meaty and delicious ☺︎. The fried shrimp was large and satisfying 🍤.

✤ Cheese Terrine
A rich and melt-in-your-mouth cheese terrine, garnished with strawberries 🍓.

✤ Homemade Ice Cream
The homemade ice cream, blended with cream cheese and mascarpone, was rich yet not overly heavy, making it absolutely delicious ☺︎.

I also had the chance to chat with the lovely couple who run the café.
