[Kitakyushu Trip] Private lunch at a hidden restaurant🍽️

While traveling to Kokura in Kitakyushu, I revisited a wonderful restaurant I had visited previously. 🥰

A Japanese cafe with a hidden feel, renovated from an old house, quietly nestled in a back alley. 🍵

Enjoy authentic Japanese tea carefully selected by a Japanese tea sommelier, seasonal Japanese sweets, and meals. 🍵

The quaint and relaxing space offers garden views, and the counter seating allows you to enjoy tea being made right before your eyes. 🍵

Among the many attractions, I chose the "private room lunch" option. 🥰

Cold "Cha Soba" (Green Tea Soba)

Topped with fried eggplant, okra, grated daikon radish, and green shiso leaves,
and refreshingly drizzled with tsuyu sauce. 🥰

After the meal,

For shaved ice,
I chose ginger shaved ice and Yame Gyokuro shaved ice❣️

The ginger shaved ice
has a unique flavor

For the gyokuro shaved ice,
after pouring half the syrup over it,
condensed milk comes out and you add the remaining syrup

The chewy shiratama (rice flour dumplings) and
large red beans were delicious♡

In both cases,
the ice was fluffy and soft🥰

It was a quiet, private space
and the slightly dimly lit atmosphere was nice🥰
