Waterfall Teketor is a lesser-known hike near Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, which I highly recommend visiting now before it gets too famous. It’s well known by the locals but not yet by tourists. For this reason, once you go there, you won’t see too many people — which is really nice.

Getting to the entrance of the park is a bit tricky, since you can’t reach it with public transportation like Ala-Archa. Your only options are either going by your own car or taking a taxi.

The hike to the waterfall is really easy and enjoyable: perfect for a short day hike. Remember to bring your own snacks and water for a picnic, as there are no stores nearby.

Since this location is in Kyrgyzstan, be ready for insanely beautiful mountain views all around you, you won’t be disappointed. If you’re lucky, you might even run into herds of horses and cows along the trail.

If you happen to be in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, I highly recommend spending a day hiking here. Teketor Waterfall is a really nice spot.
