Sabah, Malaysia is a land with over thirty different ethnic races and there are diverse groups live all across across the state. Some of the popular tribes here include Kadazandusun, Bajau, Rungus, Murat and various other indigenous groups.

Visiting to the Mari-Mari Cultural Village, this is an attraction where you can learn more about the tribes such as blowpipe-making demonstration, fire-starting demonstration using bamboo, tattoo-making demonstration, and get an in-depth look at the mystical symbolisms behind them. Visitors will also get chance to sample Sabahan traditional delicacies from each ethnic group.

Highly recommend everyone to go for the package includes with the transportation (round-trip) as the village is located at a remote forest where it is extremely hard to get a taxi or grab. We waited for 1 hour to get a grab to pick us up 🥲🥲.
