Excellent stay option after climbing Mt Kinabalu

Totally recommend Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu after your climb. Excellent location, nearby markets and malls, making it easy to get anything you need for post mountain aches and needs.

We opted for Club Lounge rooms and it was great as it comes with light bites almost throughout the day. So if you're too tired to go out, just pop upstairs. The views from the Club Lounge are phenomenal and if you proceed one level up to rooftop bar, you'll get even better, unbostructed views. Nice and calming.

The room was superb, clean and comfortable. Reception and most other staff were friendly. There's a paid option to have your shoes clean via room service. There's sufficient space for luggage and some clever wall fixtures for outdoor jackets. Large and tasty spread for breakfast.

All in all, highly recommend!

Came for Mt Kinabalu but will return for Le Meridien 😙
