My stay at the Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu was an exceptional blend of modern luxury and breathtaking oceanfront views. Located right in the heart of Kota Kinabalu, the hotel offers easy access to the waterfront, markets, and local attractions while providing a serene retreat.
My first impression was literally wonderful, from
the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and professional, ensuring a smooth check-in. The lobby exudes contemporary elegance with subtle nods to Sabah’s natural beauty. The service throughout my stay was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive.
⏩ Room & Comfort:
I stayed in a Deluxe Room with Ocean View, and it was absolutely worth it, the balcony that overlooking the stunning oceanfront views of South China Sea was a big plus. The room was spacious, with a plush Marriott signature bed, a sleek work desk, and a well-appointed bathroom (though the shower pressure could have been stronger). The minimalist design with earthy tones created a calming ambiance.

was extensive, featuring local Sabahan specialties alongside international options.
🥃🍢🍹Breeze Beach Club & Bar is perfect for sundowners by the pool. The cocktails were creative, and the grilled seafood was fresh & flavorful.

🏋️ The fitness center was well-equipped, though I would’ve loved a spa for deeper relaxation.
