Our stay at Shangri-La Tanjung Aru was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles, refreshing drinks, and that signature Shangri-La hospitality. The resort is beautifully landscaped, with lush gardens and direct access to a private beach — perfect for a relaxing getaway.

We booked a sea view room and it was stunning — spacious, elegantly designed, and the view of the ocean and sunset from the balcony was truly postcard-worthy. The bed was ultra-comfy, and the bathroom came with a soaking tub and high-end toiletries.

The breakfast buffet at Café TATU was incredible, with a huge variety of local and international options. We also enjoyed dinner at Peppino — the Italian food was fantastic. The Sunset Bar is a must-visit, with breathtaking views and a chill vibe.

What really sets this place apart is the service — the staff went out of their way to make sure every moment was perfect. They even surprised us with a small cake for our anniversary!
