Kotor truly surprised me — in the best way✨

Charming, historic, full of soul. Narrow cobbled streets, stone walls, green balconies… and that feeling like you’ve stepped into another century. Time slows down here — and you just want to wander.
📍 Getting there:
I traveled from Budva by bus — the ride took around 1 hour 10 minutes because of road construction.
💰 Ticket price is between €5–6.
🕓 Normally, the ride takes just 45 minutes — so plan accordingly.
🚏 The bus station is just a few minutes’ walk from the port and the old town — super easy and accessible.
📸 What to see in Kotor:
— The magical old town itself
— St. Tryphon’s Cathedral
— Hidden alleys, stone archways, vintage details
— And, of course, the famous Kotor cats 🐾
⛰ Want a view you’ll never forget?
Climb to St. John’s Fortress — 1350 steps, €15 entry.
I didn’t make it this time, but I’ve already put it on my list for next visit — it’s that iconic.
Sometimes all it takes is a short bus ride to feel completely renewed.
Kotor is that kind of place — peaceful, unexpected, and full of magic.
Add it to your travel wishlist 💫
