Mount Koya is one of the most spiritual places I’ve ever visited. Staying overnight in a temple lodging was unforgettable — waking up to monks chanting morning prayers was humbling. The Okunoin cemetery, lined with towering cedar trees and moss-covered gravestones, felt mystical, especially as lanterns lit the path at dusk. The Kobo Daishi Mausoleum radiated peace, making me reflect deeply. Koyasan is more than a destination; it’s a journey inward, where silence and nature guide you to a sense of calm and clarity. #mytraveldiary
