Discover the Hidden Paradise of Hong Island, Krabi

A peaceful day trip to Hong Island, one of the most beautiful islands in Krabi. Just a short boat ride from Ao Nang, the journey itself was scenic, with clear skies and turquoise waters all around.

🌊 Depart from Ao Nang Pier

We took longtail boat and the view along the way was already amazing — limestone cliffs, clear blue sea, and fresh morning air.

🛶 Hong Lagoon

Our first stop was the famous Hong Lagoon, hidden inside the island. We slowly entered the lagoon by boat, surrounded by high limestone walls. The water inside was calm and emerald green — perfect for kayaking and taking photos. It felt like entering a secret world.

🏖 Relax at Hong Beach

Next, we arrived at the main beach of Hong Island. The sand was soft and white, and the water was crystal-clear. I went swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling. There were colorful fish swimming close to the shore!

🍱 Picnic Lunch

We had a simple picnic lunch on the beach (many tours include lunch, or you can bring your own). There aren’t restaurants on the island, so it’s a good idea to pack water and snacks.

🥾 Viewpoint & Nature Walk

After lunch, we walked a short trail through the trees and climbed up to the viewpoint. The view from the top was stunning — you can see the entire beach and the lagoon from above. Totally worth the walk!

🧘♀️ Chill Time

Before heading back, we had time to just relax, listen to the waves, and enjoy the peaceful vibe. No crowds, no noise — just nature.
