Hualien's Educational and Recreational Natural and Cultural Attraction: Lintienshan Forestry Cultural Park

Explore the hidden forest gem in Hualien Valley, Lintienshan, which was once Taiwan's fourth largest logging site, following Basianshan, Alishan, and Taipingshan. It was once known as 'Little Shanghai' and remains the most well-preserved logging base. Although logging has been banned, Lintienshan has transformed into a cultural park that combines community and cultural preservation. It is an ideal spot for family visitors to enjoy nature while learning and having fun.

The elevated railway boardwalk and the small logging train are popular photo spots for tourists. The park is rich in various logging tools, traditional firefighting equipment, and other cultural artifacts. It also features the grand Zhongshan Hall, a cluster of Japanese cypress buildings, and a cypress-scented café, perfect for a leisurely afternoon.
