Visiting Laolading Island in Krabi was such a special way to start our island-hopping trip. Since it was our first stop, we arrived super early in the morning - and had the entire beach completely to ourselves.

The morning light was absolutely magical, casting this soft golden glow over the white sand and turning the water into liquid glass. We walked along the empty shoreline, watching tiny crabs scuttle across the sand, with no sounds except the gentle lapping of waves.

That peaceful sunrise atmosphere made it feel like we'd discovered our own private island. By the time other boats started arriving, we were already happily swimming in that crystal-clear water. If you want to experience a Thai island at its most serene, set your alarm early and make this your first stop - it's worth losing sleep for.
