Hello, this was my first time in Krabi. Today, I'm here to review the Banyan Tree Krabi.
I stayed there from May 17-19.
Room Type: Deluxe Garden Pool Suite
Direct promotion from the hotel: 24,998 baht for 3 days, 2 nights (12,499 baht per night). This price includes:
- Breakfast
- Koh Hong boat trip
- Round-trip transfers from the hotel and airport
The hotel is located at the end of Tab Kaek Beach, about a 50-minute drive from Krabi Airport. There are 72 units in total, and it's very private, quiet, and perfect for relaxing. And most importantly, there are plenty of photo spots! I love it! 😍
The hotel's concept was inspired by Krabi's belief in the Naga legend, which is beautifully translated into the hotel's décor.
My personal favorite is the view of the stairs leading down to the water in the lobby. It's breathtakingly beautiful, so beautiful you'll want to beg for your life, so beautiful you'll want to be a Naga. This is the opposite view of Six Sense Yao Noi.
Room: 🛌
I stayed in a 129-square-meter Deluxe Garden Pool Suite, room number G107. The living space was perfect. The bathroom was well-proportioned, with a shower, bathtub, and his-and-hers sinks. There was also a walk-in closet, and the bedroom was a perfect place to jump right into the saltwater pool.
Food: 🍱
- The Naga
They have all-day dining and a buffet breakfast.
- Saffron - Authentic Thai cuisine, located on a hillside, is accessible by funicular. It's a stylish spot. The food is authentic and spicy. The chef is from Southern Thailand. I recommend booking in advance, as I found the tables to be quite limited.
Service: 💁♀️
The staff were very friendly and attentive to every detail. They even wai more than MPs during the election. Perhaps it was because we stayed on a less busy day, which made everything go so smoothly. What I liked most was how diligently they cleaned the room. When I went out and came back, the room was set up like I'd just entered a new room.
Facilities & Activities 🚣♂️
There's a kids' club for the little ones, with free regular and clear kayaks and surfboards, and staff on hand to help explain how to use them. Next door, there's a Happy Meal from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the beach bar, with a buy-one-get-one-free drink promotion.
Overall, I was impressed with this place in many ways. My only complaint is the hair dryer. I felt it wasn't very powerful. If you're a woman with long hair and you encounter a hair dryer like this, you might get irritated. 😂 If I have the chance, I definitely think I'll stay here again.
