Huashan Dayuan Cultural Park is located in Ke Village, at the northern foot of Jiuhuashan Scenic Area, one of China's four famous Buddhist mountains, a national key scenic spot, and the world-renowned sanctuary of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. The park encompasses a 99-meter statue of Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, along with supporting attractions and amenities. Spanning over 1,500 mu (approximately 1,500 acres), the park integrates natural landscapes with Buddhist culture, blending traditional art with modern technology, offering a scenic spot for Buddhist worship, health preservation, meditation, and leisure.
The buildings in Dayuan Cultural Park primarily include halls, pavilions, bridges, corridors, towers, and terraces. To fully demonstrate the Buddhist and regional characteristics, the designers boldly innovated on traditional architectural forms, skillfully incorporating the majestic style of Han and Tang architecture. This creates a unique charm of Tang and Hui styles, imbued with a strong artistic identity and practical tourist attractions.
At night, a large-scale Buddhist cultural performance, "Great Wishes Fulfilled", will be staged. It is the only performance in the world in front of the highest Ksitigarbha statue; a one-of-a-kind real-scene presentation without a sound and light show; a humanistic interpretation of prayer and viewing, a perfect combination of Ksitigarbha culture and performance art; a simple dialogue across time and space. In front of the Ksitigarbha statue, one can examine oneself with a naked heart, rediscover the value of life and the expectation of beautiful things, which will bring tourists unprecedented audio-visual and spiritual enjoyment.
