💧 "The water reflects the glory of the dynasty."

#September2025
Taman Sari Tourist Village, located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, is a former royal garden and water palace of the Javanese Kingdom of Mataram. Built in the 18th century, it originally served as a resting place, bathing area, and secret place for prayer and meditation for the sultan. The park comprises pools, gardens, underground passages, and the remains of a mosque. The most famous feature is the Umbul Pasiraman (Princess's Bath), where the ancient buildings are reflected in the clear water, creating a mysterious atmosphere. Besides admiring the historic architecture, travelers can also stroll through the surrounding traditional village, exploring handicraft shops and the local life. This is not only a must-see for history buffs but also a perfect spot for photography enthusiasts, transporting them back to the golden age of Javanese royalty.
