The Beautiful Water Castle⛲️

Taman Sari Yogyakarta is also known as Taman Sari Water Castle, a beautiful water castle and formerly a royal garden of the Yogyakarta sultanate. Taman Sari is famous because this place is so instagenic.

It is built in the middle of the 18th century and situated in the centre of Yogyakarta City or just a step from Yoyakarta Palace (you can reach this place by walking distance 15mins from Yogyakarta Palace).

With its combination of eastern and western style building, this unique escape of the royal family has its own appeal and story. The most famous place in Tamansari is the bathing and resting place of the Sultan and his Princesses named Umbul Pasiraman. Most tourists find this place interesting as there is a unique story behind its origins.
