Taman Gelora Kuantan

Taman Gelora (Gelora Park) is a recreational park besides a seafront, Teluk Sisek (Seashells Bay). It has a walk/jogging track with workouts/exercise stations along the track. From dawn to dusk, the residents of Kuantan town patronize it for social activities besides keeping fit. There is a eatery called Gelora Point at one end. It caters delicious local food like tempoyak patin, curry dishes and snacks of keropok lekur., etc. Abundant casurina trees scattered throughout the park providing the necessary shade for the walkers/ joggers. Even in midday, the park is pleasantly cool. There is inlet waterway to a pond of lotus which is a beautiful sight when in bloom.
