“Emerald Cascades: Sungai Pandan’s Cascading Haven”

Nestled in 25 hectares of lush forest reserve, Sungai Pandan, also known as Panching Waterfall, is renowned as one of Peninsular Malaysia's most exquisite multi-tiered waterfalls. It is around 13 km (20 min drive) from Kuantan . The waterfall cascades down three rocky tiers for around 100 meters to a gorgeous green pool, which is the ideal place to relax and have a picnic.

• Arrive early especially on weekends – parking fills up fast and it can get crowded.

• Wear sturdy footwear or water shoes – the rocks can be slick and slippery.

•Mind the current upstream – the upper pools may have stronger currents, so swim only in the shallow bottom tier, ideal for kid.

• Don’t climb high tiers unsafely – climbing steep rocks can be dangerous! Stick to marked paths and observe warning signs.
