In 1958, the museum began to collect works from all ethnic groups from all corners of the world, including colonial works, local aboriginal handicrafts, folk art and collections of many artists. The rich exhibitions are well worth spending a whole day on a literary itinerary and slowly walking into the time tunnel of Malaysia.
