The National Mosque of Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur is an outstanding representative of Islamic architectural art. Its shape and decoration are similar to the three major mosques in Mecca, and it is magnificent.
Different from the traditional onion-shaped design, the National Mosque has a blue 16-pointed star-shaped roof with a total of 18 spires, which represent the five creeds of the Federation of Malaysia and Islam, as well as a 245-foot-high minaret that symbolizes the spirit of freedom and independence.
✅Note: All visitors entering the visit must abide by Islamic etiquette, take off their shoes, and dress neatly and appropriately. If the visitor's clothing does not meet the requirements, the mosque will provide free robes for use.
