Jalan Alor is a 500-metre long food street in Kuala Lumpur. Located in the heart of the city in Bukit Bintang Area, it is one of the busiest food streets of the world. The old-world charm of the jam-packed street stands in sharp contrast to the rest of the modernized Kuala Lumpur.

This former red-light area is now one of Kuala Lumpur’s top culinary destinations. The sidewalks are lined with seafood eateries, hawker stalls, and coffee shops serving some of Malaysia’s best hawker fare. You’ll find delicious street food like satay, BBQ chicken wings, stir-fried noodles, and also desserts. We had the famous grill fish and chicken wings, as well as Thai tea ice dessert.

This buzzing street draws budget travelers for its affordable prices and shutterbugs for its nostalgic vibes.
